On a personal note…
In one sense, you could say this edition of the newsletter marks the culmination of three months’ work.
But that wouldn’t be accurate.
Yes, the We Are Beta team did start planning it in December last year.
But the genesis of the content started years ago.
In fact, it would be more accurate to say the Pastoral Champions Conference is the culmination of hundreds of years of work.
Hundreds? How did I work that out?
If you assume (conservatively) each of our speakers has been working in schools between 5-10 years. And you multiply that experience by the number of sessions they’ve distilled it into, you very quickly get to big numbers.
Which is why I want to dedicate this section to saying a massive thank to each and every on of our fantastic speakers, who have gone above and beyond to share their strategies and give you a head start. Thank you.
I hope you’ll join us in watching, feeding back, asking questions and sharing your own resources in return - here’s how.
I also want to thank Kasia and Fran, who have done such an incredible job pulling it together.
And everyone who contributed to the planning. We truly value every single input, however small. Thank you.
Thanks for reading.
